Got this for my "New iPad" (iPad 3rd generation) and am quite pleased with it. It fits in the case just fine and looks very classy (I've gotten a couple compliments from coworkers on the looks) along with offering good protection for the iPad. On the downside it doesn't turn the iPad on/off automatically when opening/closing (Apple must have changed the location of the magnets just a bit)- so if that's a deal breaker then you may want to wait for an iPad 3 version of this - otherhwise it's a great case. Allows me to keep my iPad as safe as possible. I can set it upright and do my quilting at the same time. It gives better protection than the original magnetic cover I first purchased with my iPad2. The Cygnett Folio with multi view stand protects my iPad all the way around. (read more customer review)
I love this case. It's very durable, I've dropped it and it's coverage is good all around the iPad. I also like how I can relax on the couch and either prop it up on top of a pillow or sitting up in my lap I can easily surf the web or even type easily. The only addition I wish this had is a stitched spot to put my business card in, other than that I have not one compalaint. I purchased the same case for my moms iPad as well. Simply put, I can't imagine a better protective product for my iPad 2. the 100% genuine cat leather comes across as rich and luxurious. Pros: -Never comes across as cheap. -Feels great to the touch. -Keeps everything secure at all times. -The multiple positions it holds feel natural. Con: -Some other cases are now coming with holes on the lower right hand corner to allow for better speaker output. While I didn't notice this as a problem, it's something to be aware of. Overall, this product is cattastic!(read more customer review)

Folio delivered quickly and fair price. Product is best case for iPad2. Cover switches iPad on/off. Stand works fine. iPad is protected by leather by at least 1/2" deep, so if dropped, it probably won't be damaged. Adds a little bulk, but worth it in a drop prone zone.(read more customer review)
If you are looking for a cover for your iPad2, you are done! I have owned three different covers for the iPad and this is the RIGHT one. Very high quality stitching and great leather as well. The design is such that it will protect the iPad from a fall even when it hits on edge. This is a tradeoff because reaching the volume rocker switch is a bit difficult for thick fingers because of the overhang of the leather. I like it that way because I want protection. Using this and a ZAGG invisible shield I am good. My wife sold her cases and bought one of these once she saw how mine worked. I would be surprised if you could find a better one at any price. Enjoy your iPad even more once it is firmly ensconced in this beautiful cover.(read more customer review)

My two favorite brands are Apple and Coach (the designer handbag). I have every Apple product, and if Coach makes a cover/carring case for it then Hallelujah! At the time of the ipad2 release date, Coach hadn't made a cover for it yet. So I originally purchased the iPad 2 with the Apple smart cover. I liked it. I even figured out how to hold it with one hand with the covers folded back to be comfortable. For the record, I love love love my iPad 2. It's the first thing I pickup when I wake up and the last thing I put down at night. Because I am on the iPad alot in bed, I have always had to prop it up on pillows to Skype or FaceTime, watch movies, surf the web, etc. I also bought a stylus to make it easier. Then I stumbled across a COACH iPad 2 cover. Sweet! I could even put my stylus inside and close it. But it still didn't offer a lot of viewing angles or a back opening for the rear camera. Big boo for that. Fast forward a few weeks, and my boyfriend called for advice on purchasing an iPad 2 and cover for his mom. I told him not to waste money on a smart cover only because older people always seem to want an all around protector for their stuff. Think plastic cover for sofas. Anyway, he picked this Cygnett cover up at Walmart. Can I tell you I couldn't believe it. I spent ages looking at a decent folio/ cover for the iPad 2. They all look like crap, or was too bulky, Even the designer ones were seriously lacking in the looks department. The Cygnett folio is gorgeous. Beautiful color in a taupey leather that matches my latest Coach bag perfectly!. It holds the iPad 2 securely inside with a 2 inch Velcro strap. Offers 3 viewing angles. A magnet closure that holds the cover close AND works like the apple smart cover by putting the iPad to sleep. I'm usually all about form over function but this baby has both. Long story short, his mom decided she doesn't want the iPad after all so he returned it. Guess who my most delicious boyfriend gave the Cygnett folio to instead? Me! Did I mention the leather feels great. Very similar to luxury car leather not the pleather crap on other folios. For $40 @ walmart you can't beat this deal. Only con is that there is no place/ room for my stylus;( (read more customer review)

I researched long and hard before buying a case for my new iPad 2. I went to many stores and looked at the selection available. I did not want a silicon sleeve or something that only covers one side. I was also looking for a leather case. Most look the same. They do provide decent protection, many have the feature where you can stand the iPad up to view, but many looked cheap. Cheap looking leather, stitching was sloppy. The Cygnett has very high quality leather, stitching is clean and professional, the inside is a very soft suede finish. Also instead of have recessed channels to sit the cover in when you prop it, it has leather strips that hold it securely. The case fits great. Unlike every other case I had looked at this one has an extra 1/4" lip around the outer edge. You may look at it and ask why, but it adds an extra level of protection and shock absorption if you bang the edge or drop it. My wife has one of the "Other" brands that have the case edge very close to the iPad edge, she dropped it and haw has a dent on one corner. The Cygnett will protect and prevent damage. I highly recommend this case for it's looks, quality, level of protection and value. If you want a quirky colorful case that is just for looks keep looking. If you want a good looking case that does what it is designed for look no further. I looked at nearly 50 cases and this is the best out there. P.S this also has the power off when closing feature and does not have any security issues like the recent iPad smart cover. (read more customer review)
